Dear Aldergrove Families,
What an incredible week of learning and community at Aldergrove! It’s hard to believe that we are half way through November already! Our students continue to shine in so many ways:
- We welcomed more Dairy Farmers presentations for our Grade 1s, 2s, and Community Class—bringing fun, interactive lessons about agriculture and healthy living.
- Our Grade 7s began their Swim to Survive program, building confidence and essential water safety skills.
- One of our Grade 1 classes enjoyed another Scientist in the School workshop, sparking curiosity and hands-on exploration.
- Our intermediate volleyball teams competed in the Area tournament, showing teamwork, perseverance, and school pride.
- Most importantly, we came together for Remembrance Day performances across all divisions. These thoughtful presentations honored Canadian war veterans and helped students reflect on the importance of remembering and valuing peace.
Looking ahead to next week:
- Report cards will be sent home on Wednesday, November 19th. A digital version will also be provided at a later date.
- Parent/Teacher Interviews will take place on Thursday, November 20th from 3:00 to 7:30 pm and Friday, November 21st from 8:30 am to 11:30 pm.
- Gifted Screening for Grade 3 students will take place, and information will be sent home to families.
- Photo retakes are scheduled for Monday for anyone wishing a second shot at their school photo.
- We continue to encourage students to reflect on their learning and evaluate the impact they have on their community and the world around them.
Thank you for your ongoing support in making Aldergrove a place where every child feels valued and inspired to grow. Together, we are building a culture of curiosity, kindness, and achievement.

Dear families,
The holiday season is just around the corner, and we’re excited to host our annual Gingerbread Workshop at Aldergrove Public School on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
To make this event extra special, we’re looking for parent volunteers to help with setup, help during the event and clean up. Your support and cheerful spirit make all the difference in bringing this festive tradition to life!
If you’re able to lend a hand (or two!), please sign up on this: Google Form.
Thank you for helping us sprinkle a little extra joy and holiday magic into our Aldergrove Community!
