Message from Admin

Dear Aldergrove Families,
As November draws to a close, we reflect on another week filled with learning and community spirit at Aldergrove! Here are some of the highlights:

  • Our Grade 8 students attended the Level Up Career Fair in Mississauga, exploring future pathways and possibilities.
  • Junior students have been trying out for volleyball, showing enthusiasm and teamwork as they prepare for upcoming games.
  • We welcomed Junior Kindergarten parents for classroom observations, strengthening the partnership between home and school.
  • Dairy Farmers presentations continued for our Kindergarten and Grade 1 students, bringing fun and interactive lessons about agriculture and healthy living.
  • Another Grade 7 class participated in Swim to Survive, building confidence and essential water safety skills.

Looking Ahead: Moving into December

December is a special month—a time of light, reflection, and celebration across many faiths and traditions. At Aldergrove, we embrace this season as an opportunity to teach and practice hope, optimism, and empathy. These values guide us in creating a caring and inclusive environment where every student feels seen and supported.

  • Hope reminds us to look forward with confidence and believe in the possibilities ahead.
  • Optimism helps us approach challenges with a positive mindset and resilience.
  • Empathy encourages us to understand and respect the experiences of others, fostering kindness and connection.

As we celebrate the diversity within our community, we encourage families to share traditions and stories that inspire these values. Together, we can make this season meaningful for every child.

Quote for the Week: “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” — Aesop

Thank you for your continued support in making Aldergrove a place where every child feels valued and inspired to grow. Let’s move into December with hearts full of hope, optimism, and empathy.

Warm regards,
