Message from Admin

It’s been another wonderful week at Aldergrove! Our students continue to shine; learning, laughing, and showing kindness daily. This week, classes listened to important Cyber Safety announcements to help them make smart choices and stay safe in the online world. We also recognized World Mental Health Day on Friday, a reminder that taking care of our minds is just as important as caring for our bodies. Whether through gratitude, connection, or taking time to rest, we all play a part in nurturing our mental well-being.

One of our goals this year is to provide our Aldergrove Scholars with opportunities to develop their leadership skills. This week, programs such as Play Leaders, Kindergarten recess helpers and lunch monitors have all begun. As the year progresses, we will continue to find new ways to engage our scholars in opportunities that allow them to explore their leadership potential.

Looking ahead, we wish a warm Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating! Please remember that Monday is a holiday—there will be no school as families enjoy time together. Tuesday is Photo Day, and Grade 7s will have a visit with Public Health for Immunizations. Later in the week, on Thursday, we’ll participate in Walk to School Day—a fun, healthy, and eco-friendly way to start the morning together.

As always, thank you for your continued support in making Aldergrove such a positive, connected community.

Sincerely,

Mr. Louca                         Mr. Pamayah
