Message from Admin

This week at Aldergrove, our scholars participated in Safety Week, engaging in a variety of emergency preparedness drills. These experiences help ensure that both scholars and staff are confident, calm, and ready should an emergency ever arise. Thank you for reinforcing these important safety conversations at home.

Looking ahead, next week brings several exciting events and celebrations. See our calendar below for details.

We are proud of the way our community continues to learn, celebrate, and support one another. Thank you for being such an important part of Aldergrove’s journey.

Sincerely,

Mr. Louca                         Mr. Pamayah

Safety Message

We are so happy to see students choosing active ways to get to school including riding bicycles. We wanted to send home a few reminders regarding this form of transportation to ensure that students are always safe:

  • Helmets should be worn while riding bicycles and scooters.
  • Students should dismount their bicycle when they are on school property to avoid running into anyone.
  • Students should only walk on pathways and sidewalks with their bikes, not on roads or parking lots.
  • Bikes should be stored in the bike racks available at the school, not left on the ground to avoid creating a tripping hazard for others.

Thanks very much for your continued support keeping our school and students safe.
